It's The End Of The World, As We Know It...

And I don't feel fine. Celebrity Circus has finally shown me the death of the American Culture. Very soon, we'll resemble the America in Mike Judge's highly underrated masterpiece called "Idiocracy". And we now have Celebrity Circus to thank for it.

Today, I watched part of the stupidest show I've ever laid mine eyes upon. It reeked of insincerity...and had no sense of reality whatsoever. It was the most contrived, artificial, self-serving whoring out of America I have ever seen.

But what offends and terrifies me more is...there was an historic event taking place in Washington going on too. It's was the reading of the 35 articles of impeachment by Congressman Dennis Kucinich to his colleagues over a four-hour period. He is officially throwing Impeachment back on the table, regardless of Nancy Pelisoi's declaration of this as "a distraction". The single most important moment in American history in several years...and the main stream media ignores it. It happened...they pretended it didn't. It was a non-issue. The extent to which the media ignored it I think is criminal in and of itself. This is an orchestrated maneuver intended to manipulate the public's collective attention...so we will focus on something else. Sometimes, it's a Britney story that dominates the media's attention. Another time, a political gay scandal...those are cute really. Dirty old white men getting caught with their Viagra-revived genitals on (or in) some innocent young male intern. Look over there, while we destroy history over here.

This lack of reporting news that is of paramount importance to the people of the United States of America, it too is criminal. We depend on the media for the truth, for fair and equal coverage of the events shaping our country. It is no different from our expectations from police and fire departments...to be there when we need us and to tell us the truth. You failed in that, main stream media, and you show off your failure in the show that is Celebrity Circus.

People , barely considered celebrities (before their enshrinement by reality TV storylines) parade in the most idiotic dog and pony show ever aired on TV. This is worse than anything I've ever seen.

But, mark my words, read this post and pay attention to the conversations of your day. How many people around you are talking about the possible impeachment of ANOTHER President?

And how many talked about how "whatshisname" performed with a broken arm?
