RIGHT ON! This is great.. so many truths.. should be passed out on the first day of school.. I love a good protest poem. This has a great rhythmic and musical quality to it. My favorite part is the intense mind break with 'Let alone the globe'. So simple... Saucy poem :)

The desert, the Mojave in particular, is the place that most moves me to look to my inner self and find the art within. Some people find the same thing for themselves in the mountains or the sea. Although I've only driven through many times, and stopped to stay for a few nights here and there along the way, I've found that it is deep inside me. I seem to strive for the feeling of the space, the purity and the solace, when I create something. Maybe one day I will get to stay there longer... I would like that!
